Easy Baby Blanket

I whipped this one out in a couple of days, after a request from my husband to "make something" for a co-worker expecting his first son......I think I'll make a matching cap nad booties. That's all for now, Iworked a 14 hour over-night shift and I'm still recovering!

Very cute! What kind of yarn did you use? Also, hopefully your package will be arriving soon, it has been almost a week since I sent it. Get some sleep from that long shift!

Thanks.....I actually used a doubled strand of acryllic for the blanket. I have found through experience that although the yarn snob in me cries for silk and alpaca, you cannot beat acryllic when it come to kids. Easy to wash, long wearing, and if you toss your FO in the dryer with a dryer sheet for about 10 minutes, quite soft. Also, no wories of causing an allergic reaction to the tender little recipient.
